Health and Wellness Events: Aunties Against Abuse is hosting Aunties Health and Wellness Events for young ladies, ages 5-18, including Community Conversations and a Symposium. The purpose of these events is to "Impact young ladies to be intentional in improving and enhancing their personal well-being".
Aunties Community Conversations, the first of the events, will focus on hearing from young ladies about the present state of their well-being; celebrating areas of health; identifying any harmful life patterns and how to navigate those areas from harm to health; and establishing a plan for their personal well-being. Due to the nature of the Campbell's grant we received to support these events, the Conversations will focus on the specific rural counties below, but all young ladies in every county are welcomed to attend!
Community Conversations Dates/Times:
August 31: Granville, Vance and All counties at 10:00am
September 28: Franklin, Warren and All counties at 10:00am
