Evangelist Vereen is a dedicated leader and passionate advocate for spiritual growth and community service. As a ministerial staff member of Nehemiah Christian Church, she brings over 20 years of ministry experience, combining deep theological insight with a heartfelt commitment to social justice and holistic care. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in History and NC State University with a master’s degree in School Leadership. She has committed 28 years to public education as a teacher, reading specialist, mentor, and coach.
