My Dream
On the morning of August 19, 2017, Minister Stephanie Humphrey, Visionary for Be Free Ministries, awoke from her slumber and recalled this dream: There was a daughter in the living room of her home where her Dad came in calling for her. The daughter thought her Dad was in a panic, but he was excited. He and his wife, the daughter's Mom, were about to take a trip and he was informing his daughter. Her Mom came in and was excited as well. The car was already packed, so they went outside to leave. A gentleman came into the house, who I found out, was the paternal grandfather. He glanced at the daughter, unhooked and took off his belt and sat down; all while keeping his eyes on the daughter. As soon as the daughter realized her grandfather would be her caretaker, she ran outside and pleaded with her parents. The daughter said to them, "Do not leave me with him. He is mean to me and he hits me, (she paused) among other things." As the daughter spoke to her parents, I walked to the passenger's side and observed the look of horror on the Mother's face. The Dad, who was climbing in the car, stepped back out and the look on his face matched the Mom's. As I observed the Dad, he looked as if he was remembering something.
*I sensed that he was remembering his own experiences of abuse at the hand of his father.*
The dream ended and I found myself crying from the depths of my soul. I began interceding for children who are suffering from abuse, as well as adults, who suffered abuse as a child. I was woke, but felt as if I was in the spirit as well, because when I fully awoke...my heart cried out, "God, what do you want me to do?" Aunties Against Abuse was His answer.
